dawes vintage road bike model ??

can anyone help id this frame and bike i will try and add some pictures might take me a bit if time it has two grease nipples one on the bottom bracket and one on the head tube .[/url]

That doesn't look a million miles away from this almost Gothic Dawes, that I owned last year:

Mine had grease nipples to the head tube and bb, and the cable routing and shape of the rear drop outs look similar. The fork crown looks like it lacks the cut outs that mine had.

I never found out the model name, but I'd love to know. It weighed a ton and as you can see, looked shocking when I brought it home. But it rode beautifully...
 
Yes, I loved it! It was so good to be able to change gears at the back and then trim off the front, without swapping hands... Generally the drive train was very smooth with none of the "clatter clatter clatter BANG!" that accompanies changing gear with the bargain basement - but unworn - Huret on my Viking...
