Dating GT Frames?

Anyone know how to date a GT frame. Have a steel 18" Timberline I'd like to sell but unsure of the date

Has the following numbers:
F980 90
0614C

I think yours is 1998, as in the serial number.

Approach the frame in a friendly and confident manner, try and be humorous. Be at ease and be a good listener, see if the frame has got any plans for the weekend. If the answer is no, ask if the frame would care to join you for a drink anb maybe a film.

Its a '99, I'm 100% sure on that as I have one here in red. Plus I bought a Karakoram new back in '99 with the same style graphics.

Has identical graphics to my old 1998 zaskar.

Have a look if green was an option in the catolgue, its in the archive section on here.

Your Zaskar was a '99 model year then. Which of course would have been on sale in the latter part of '98.
