Cyclo twin pull rear gear qustion .

I have aCyclo twin pull rear derailleur for a tandem that I would like to use on a solo .{I have all the parts}
I realise this will involve a bit of soldering & shortening the cable ..

I am hoping to fit it to a pre war F W Evans that has to correct rear hanger .

Has any one here done a conversion of this type .
Any pointers appreciated .

Should not be too difficult to solder. Use corrosive flux like Bakers on the steel wire. Bear in mind that in the high gears the cable is a little slack, as the helical movement is horizontal, so takes a little more cable to reach low gear. Trim the outer from the lever end.

Just need to find a nice B W 3 speed unit for the rear .
