Retro Newbie
hello all, I recently bought a nice retro bike that I want to rebuild. The only problem is that I cannot find information and decals about the belgian frame manufacturer. I think the local bike shop just used frames from one of the known frame builders at that time.

The problem is that I am not sure if the frame is gazelle, peugeot, flandria,... Is there someone that could point me in a good direction.

Kind regards.

I only find a four digit number on the bottom bracket. It is because of frame on velobase that I see a lot of similarities with Flandria.

Flandria frame with more or less the same design as on tubes: http://www.velobase.com/Velos/ViewModel ... PgOffset=0

Hmm, never seen a Flandria frame with a serial number on the bottom bracket. Though the four numbers and the font look a bit similar to the ones I'm used to on the left dropouts...

I had a similar frame as the one you linked to on Velobase. It also had Shimano SF dropouts as your unknown frame. But the lugs are less sharp than yours. The front of the headtube lugs also look different. Here's a link to my frame: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=238076&hilit=flandria+low+spec

Re:

That is a very nice flandria you have. Nice result. I think i will just make it a flandria as it has most characteristics in common.
A result like yours would be great. Where did you get your flandria decals and what was the RAL color you used for painting.
