Cycle roof rack

Can anybody recommend a cheap roof cycle carrier that would take a retro bike and mountain bike?

I've got a lovely Thule roof rack which holds my road bike, my full sus mtb, my kids Islabike. In short, it's really good. However, I've got a Zafira and is a right sod of a stretch to get them on. Gave myself 2 years of agony with a frozen bloody shoulder!

Try the CRUZ Bici-rack - cheap anyway. I've got 2 and they seem pretty sturdy.

I've got these on roof bars. The proper retro way we used to transport bikes to races. You do have the extra hassle of removing the front wheel though

I'm with Pigman - they are simple, cheap and don't take up loads of garage space!
