Custom Brazed 1993 Interbike Show bike. Slawta Dirtshark

Recent acquisition from original Owner. Contacted John Slawta and he didn’t recall bike but serial number indicates 1993..
Cool brazing and details and even cooler high quality paint job. Note the swimming shark motif throughout the rear of the frame.
Not sure of direction on this build.. Previous Owner had installed a White Brothers SC-70 for his Son to ride. I replaced with the rigid temporarily or at least until I can peg down what original specs were. Not on the front burner so may take me a while.
Hope you like it and as usual my apologies for my i-Phone pics.

Re:

Very cool frame. Hard to see on my phone but is that an IRD rear brake?

Re:

Yes those are Much newer Cane Creek Decals as this was an RS/Dia Compe custom order to be displayed at their Interbike booth. (Dia Compe later went on to become Cane Creek)

I have not determined what hung on this bike at the show as of yet. Since the Diacomp Rockshox relationship was waning by this point it could have been an early Mag (Maybe painted to match) But more likely... it was equipped with Aheadset & a full complement of Dia Compe parts exclusively.

My Sovereign was also an Interbike Show bike (the previous year) and originally sported a RS-1 or Mag10 which is long gone.
