Crimes against bicycles.

It has however, caught Gravellitis. This is quite a serious condition. It is transmitted from owners to bikes in a rare instance of cross-species transmission. Good news though. With a Park Allen Key tool, some drop bars and sensible brake levers, it takes only an hour or so to cure the bike. However, not so the owners. Gravellitis is a chronic disease and lingers in the body of riders almost permanently. There is no known cure.

My mate claims to have invented the gravel bike. He used to ride 90s rigid MTBs with 20cm ahead stems, drop bars and fat slicks. He's a joiner and mde his own canvas frame bag to carry tools and odds and sods. One day he was at the lights in London's swinging Bethnal Green a hipster lad on a track bike just stopped and stared mouth open at his steed. He used to get asked loads of questions by skinny, beardy fixie warriors between coffee stops. This was about a decade ago. Until he put the bag in there he was totally anonymous!
