B bojangle Retro Guru Feb 18, 2010 #3 About 4 or 5 of my mates now have these frames, they all swear by them. They look very nice, ride well, are strong and not too badly priced. The 2010 frame has come down in price too, which is a bonus.

letmetalktomark Retrobike Rider Gold Trader Feedback View Feb 18, 2010 #6 Martin, That is very nice How do you get on with the wheels?
Drapoon Kona Fan Feb 18, 2010 #7 The wheels are.....far too light hence not very strong Snapped 5/6 spokes in 6 months of riding. Back wheel comes out of true every month of so. Been rebuilt 3 times. I am 6ft & 14 stone tho The front wheel has been great tho'! Wish you hadn't asked? the rest has been faultless Not had any problems with chain dropping or anything like that

letmetalktomark Retrobike Rider Gold Trader Feedback View Feb 18, 2010 #8 That them rules out as a potential wheel set.....I am taller and heavier than you Out of interest what would you say yours weighed? I am thinking about a similar 1 x 9 build, with reba forks

Drapoon Kona Fan Feb 18, 2010 #10 Yeh t'is a 100mm stem - I emailed cy at cotic & he reccommended 100mm stem & 100mm forks for the type of riding I wanted to do & my height I wouldn't bother with pro 3's. Bling yes & v light but for race whippets. I may see if I can trade them for some pro II's I might be heading to my local bike shop tonight (getting through more lube than the playboy mansion!) so I'll ask them to weigh it in for you
