Coppi article

Thanks for the link, I've just finished William Fotheringhams Coppi biography. Like you say, nothing new in the article, but some great pictures...
 
The book is fantastic :) really got me looking at the era and Coppi in particular. For me the greatest ever to have picked up a bike.
 
I fully agree. I enjoyed the Tom Simpson bio by the same writer and I admire all pro cyclists but Coppis story is inspirational. Talk about success against the odds. And the natural talent was phenomenal... :shock: The complicated family life is a shame but he was messed up and it doesn't detract from his achievements as a racer. He's lucky he isn't alive today with the paparazzi and obsession with scandal...
