I know a design student that was also a good bike mechanic,he made one almost exactly the same during his course
Having sat on it ,i can honestly say ,it was the most uncomfortable stool ive ever sat on,it just doesn't work because your just not meant to have your knees horizontally in line with your hips when sitting on a bike saddle
