I don't think they made them any shorter than this

no, I don't know. Most of the stems bitd were long like this.

I've not seen a 135 up for sale in a while...I believe the last time I saw one was 2005 or 2006, if that.

I saw a 135mm one for sale on ebay in dec. 08, but didn't bid because I was traveling overseas at the time and forgot about it. It went for about $250, the same as this guy is asking. They also show up on german ebay quite often, but rarely do the sellers want to ship to the US.

I'm hearing about this one. There a fat chance team comp that had the dogbone stem on it, then he relisted it without the dogbone; I believe that is the seller you speak of.
