I think all you need to do is to log into the local website (ebay.co.uk) - you use the same login info as you would from ebay.com. Just make sure the seller is willing to ship overseas first before you bid. I've bought a few things from ebay.de and .co.uk even though the item was prohibited from ebay.com.

I emailed the seller (a member here) and he is cool with overseas shipping.

I'm still unable to place a bid, however, so I may ask a Retrobike member to bid for me.

tried that when trying to bid on a US item.

let me know if you want to bid as i can do it on your behalf. my username on ebay is the same on this forum so you can see i'm alright.

Sorry for confusion as I'm not after that item. But I'm happy to do the same for you (bid and then ship to you once the auction is over). I've done this a few times already for members of RB.
