531 Pro was made in the 1980s, finishing in about 1989. The attached history is very helpful.

I have 2 531 Pro bikes, dating from 1988 and with the red decals, one used by my son as a runabout, getting very little care and attention, but seemingly bombproof. The other is only occasionally used by me, but always a joy, and not as stiff as any of my other steel bikes (and not a problem for me). Whatever you read about 531 Pro not lasting long, I've never had a problem.

Have booked it in for a strip, repaint and new decals at Condor. Going for Kawasaki green, as I've always wanted a bicycle in this colour...

Kawasaki green was a no-brainer! Booked in with Mathew currently. Need to find out if the forks will be 531 Pro too...
