Commuter

Retro Newbie
Hey Everyone

I'm new here and just thought I'd share my current commuter I'm slowly trying to improve.
It's 80's Somec frame. With a shimano 600 groupset.
I've added the Cinelli bar and stem combo and Selle Italia saddle.
The Chainrings I've swapped to Stronglight.
What shall I do next?
The frame needs a good polish, and I'm thinking new wheelsets?

Re:

That's your COMMUTER?

Wow! I'd love to see your best bike.

Wheels are always a good way to lose a little weight and liven up performance, but you need to consider rider weight and road conditions too when it comes to spoke count.

Nice bike though and it should polish up a treat.

Hahaha to be fair it's my only bike, but I pretty much just cycle to commute at the moment. I'd probably need some pretty hard wearing wheels, London roads are pretty shite, plus I cycle the canal paths a bit.
