Colour choices . .

Wifes bike is coming together a little quicker than I'd thought and the cockpit is giving me grief.

Frame and forks are white, bars/stem and crank spider are purple, other purple accents dotted about..

But what colour grips and what levers for the V-brakes??

I thought about the new yellow Odi Troy Lee grips but, tbh, I don't have nearly £20 for grips..

And then I'd still be stuck for levers... black isn't going to work, neither is silver (I don't think)..

Erm. . . . . help?

Only thing that's here is the frame (not powdercoated yet) and cranks. .

Thinking purple Oury or Porcipaws and then I could probably get away with black levers.

Or save some pennies, get the Odi's and use flybikes purple levers . . .

I had sort of promised only to use paypal funds though, not bank money.

It was originally white.. I'm only putting it back to 'factory'..

On the other things . . . . ermmmmmm . . . . she only wants 1 gear (I've invested a lot of time and a few quid on gears for her Voodoo, trying to get a setup she likes, and she revealed the other day that she doesn't know why I'm bothering since she won't change gear regardless :roll: )

And, while I think they are a tad wider than 8", she's having a Fred Salmon bar/stem combo and they're quite narrow-ish . .

It's not a classic frame or owt ('98 Avalanche) so I don't mind her having it how she wants it.. it'll make her more willing to cock a leg over and come out with me
