Colnago Supers were available from new with Record, C record or Chorus at this time see:

The previous owner ordered the frame and groupset from new, with the exception of the simplex levers which he preferred. I fitted a Rolls saddle instead of the Turbo in white which was on the bike when new.

I think that Saronni colour scheme is one of my two all time favourites - it looks fantastic. The condition looks very good, too - as befits a beautiful Sunday best bike.
