Retro Newbie
Hi everyone and greetings from Moscow!
Here is my Colnago.
Don`t know exactly model year, but most of my local club members say what it is from end of 80`s.
This bike have a long story. First I met him in 1997-98 when I was cycling in juniors team on Moscow Olympic track. In 2002 I started study most of my time and bike was hanged on hook for a 5 or 6 years. Than I sell it to my buddy. He use bike sometime for commuting, but mostly it was used like a decoration of his flat))
Three weeks ago my wife bought this bike and present to me on my birthday!
It was one of the most memorable gifts!
Now I plan to hold it in perfect condition.
Brief specs are:
end-80`s - mid-90`s Colnago Master frame
Unknown fork
Shimano 600 tricolor front and rear derailleurs
ITM Handlebar
Modolo Mach brakes
Campagnolo seatpost
SanMarco saddle
Ambrosio Evolution wheelset
Now my plans are:
Change headset to something like Campagnolo Record. Current headset have some "indexed steering".
Service wheels(hubs, rims etc). Today I received shipment from CRC with new tyres and tubes. I ordered Conti GrandPrix.
Change brake levers. My current are in very poor condition. I want change it to Shimano BL-6401 or ST-6400 shifting Brake Levers. But last one are hard to find in good condition.
New handlebar tape of course.
Original fork. Here I need some advice, because I don`t know what fork are original for my frame...
Some cosmetics. Like Columbus sticker on frame, maybe painting and chrome, rear dropouts screws etc...
Thank you and sorry for my English please!
Here are some pics of bike how I received it.
