today I went to see the local CNC guy to ask for help with a stuck seatpost, and look what he had in his basement...

enjoy!

I might use this frame for a build using parts from a Look 166KG of the same period, I think, suggestions are very welcome.

Hey Wheelnut, that looked stunning in red! what happened to it?

this is what I've got on the old Look, a wild mix of Campa, Shima and Specia :shock:

The brakes, stem (Eclypse) and handlebars are OK to cannibalize, aren't they?

Oh no! I just noticed the quick release lever on the front wheel is on the right hand side...

And then there's this, from another scavenging tour of mine, excuse the terrible photos.

it's a Campagnolo branded no name frame (it's got a french made BB case), loaded with Nuovo Record and a 2% of Shimano parts.
And nice Fiamme Ergal rims.

But those parts are some ten years too old for the Master Olympic.

If I'm not mistaken...

But I wouldn't really like to dismantle this lovely build.
I'm just posting the photos out of exhibitionism.

My advice would be to transfer all of the components from the Look and then upgrade some of the bits as and when you feel like it or can afford it. Most of the parts on the Look should be fine on the 'nago, and those brakes are real beauties.

Oh yes, and keep it under lock and key at all times. My Master Olympic was stolen. :cry:
