Old School Hero
Colnago Frame 56cm with damage...

I believe this is a Chorus Super from around 1988 - but if you know better please post it up as I can't be 100% sure, see the photos for a reference I have found

Have a good look at the detailed pictures here:

Very pretty frame that has been butchered due to a stuck seatpost. This has left the top of the seat tube very scruffy looking with subtle distortion to the tube and two small perforations on the drive side. Its been roughly painted to stop corrosion, but needs sorting which can be done in a number of ways depending on how far you want to take a restoration.

I'd personally ride this as is but would opt to use a longer than usual seat post in order to remove any additional stresses. Its a steel frame so technically this tube can be replaced if so desired.

56 c-t-c top tube and seat tube. Rear spacing is 126mm
Head tube is 140mm end to end.
I'm presuming its Italian threaded and they look OK.

It has the following details:

- Logo in BB shell
- Colnago club in headtube lug
- RH chromed chainstay
- Colnago stamped on both chainstays
- Colnago stamped on both seatstays
- Campagnolo road ends with Colnago serial number on drive side
- Club logo on the brake bridge
- 'Fluted' tubing on both top tube and down tube
- Fluted inner chainstays
- Ovalised seat stays
- Braze on front mech
- Remains of Columbus decal (given shaped tubing and reference, thinking its SL..)
- Original paint
- Some aftermarket stickers included (down tube, seat tube, club logo and signature - all non original but OK)

I'm looking for £145 or best offer including fast delivery within the UK.
Will ship worldwide at actual cost.
