Clockwork Orange with carbon sus forks, minty (refinished)

Retro Guru
17" Clockwork with new headset, Ahead, so relatively 'recent'. Frame has been powder coated black and has a few very minor marks.

The forks have had new air valves fitted from a modern Scott shock as the originals were leaking. I'm not sure of the make but they are very early suspension, air. They have stainless bolts, carbon legs and only a couple of inches of travel, perfect for that retro frame.

Headset is new, stem is there just to hold everything together.
Seat collar is new.
Crud Catcher included. New frame bolts.
new fitted cable outer.

I had this built up but found that I couldn't get on with the riding position. (I have a neck problem). Rode it 10 - 15 miles on road and fire track, then dismantled it to sell.

£150 plus post.

I can supply more photos via email.

Orange

This used to be my frame and the forks are certainly indeed Air Obsyss, BUT totally wrong for the geometry of the frame as this is a very late Clockwork with inch and an eighth headtube and was suspension corrected for 85/100mm forks, so those forks which are 38/39 axle>/crown are waaaaay too short and will ruin the bikes handling. I ran it with RC 36 Pro class 2's and it handled like a dream.

Yes, I can see that. Maybe I should split then, as so many folk are asking for the forks :)

I never used these forks with this frame so can't comment about the handling. I used Project 2 (long) and didn't like the handling with them.

Shall we say 75/75 then? (you know what I paid for the frame; the loss is mine  )
