Clockwork from '89

Would a '89 clockwork have been a UK made frame?

I thought all bikes up until about '90 were uk fabricated???

Maybe a very early '89 Paul but from memory it was only really the few they knocked out in '88 that were made over here.

There seems to be a few of these '89 frames coming up for sale at present, have they all of a sudden become undesirable?

anyway, it would be safe to assume that most '89's are not uk made bikes.

I like 'em and have had a couple but find they're too low at the front compared to the 92's onwards.
