cleat help !!!!

i have just tried to install my onza cleats on to my new christmas shimano shoes, the first question is do i need to install the "packer" that comes with the cleats ? and even if i leave this out the bolts supplied with the cleats are not long enough to go in to the shimano shoes, they are the same thread, it seems i just need longer bolts, is this common ? will the lbs have loads of these in stock ? anyone else had this problem ?

sorry if they seem like stupid questions, but i was looking forward to riding my klein on its maiden voyage on boxing day !!

I had the same problem with my Nike shoes, the blots just could touch the cleats, I just used some force and it worked, but I think you can just get longer bolts.

I used longer wellgo bolts on mine!

okay cool,
should i go to my LBS or can you send me a link to a place that sells them ? i heard that wellgo make ceats to fit onza hos, is this true ?

Will have a root around I think I may have a few sets knocking around. I've got some onza cleats so will check that they are right and get back to you. I'm away for a few days so will pm you at the wqeekend!
