Claud Butler Lightweight 1937

Dirt Disciple
This is one for the serious collector - a 1937 Claud Butler lightweight: original paintwork and components, as far as I can see - with the possible exception of the gear trigger. It has original Manor Street Works Clapham decals, Claud Butler markings on the crank arms, classic cut-away lugs, Williams 1937 chainwheel, three speed Sturmey Archer gears, Bluemels Duplex guards. Pat. numbers on various components and oil filters, as it's a very early Claud. The tubing is Super High Mangalloy - i.e., early Reynolds. I'm not sure of the model, but it has continental bands on the seattube, which may help with identification. This is one that's so old, it must have been constructed within the purview of the great man himself. £450 ono, or part-exchange. Cash on collection in south-east London or thereabouts. Any other methods of payment and/or shipping will need to be discussed and agreed. This item can be shipped overseas.
