Hi I finally got round to building my claud cape wrath but not sure where to list it !
the frame is 80's (I think it's the roughest paint job I have ever produced from a can of mat black and half a can of clear to give it a shine)

the rims are 80's (I think I feel like I have had them for ever)

the cranks, hubs brakes and rear mech are m952 so 90's

the stem and ti bars are off my 96 explosive
with some old xlite stubby bar ends (not sure on colour though)

the forks are NOS 97 xcr's

the smoke II and dart II tyres have perished but will be ridden till they pop as i dont have anything better to fit

the tectro boosters work but i would have prefered some carbon if funds allowed

the wheels were slapped together last night out of about 5 wheels to get the components that looked right, dt revolutions alloy nipples and mavic x221 rims
I did lace up some grey ano mavics but there was too much grey so i went for the black.
and a sachs 8 speed shifter (It needs a 9'speed shifter really but i can't spend any money on this one!)
only thing left to get is a xtr crank bolt for nothing and i can ride it
not bad price wise as everything was laying around in the garage for once !!
cheers
Darren

the kilauea and the rts are next then it's time to get down to it with my pace stuff

I can confirm that the cape wrath also smells lovely, having been wet coated!
