Classic 1" quill road stem with 31.8mm clamp?

Hi all - I'm trying to find a classic shaped road stem with a 1" quill, but with a 31.8mm clamp for oversized bars (I need ergo bars and OS is the only one I could find...)

Something like this, with an OS clamp:

I'm currently using a 1" quill to ahead adapter with a http://s256.photobucket.com/user/edscoble/media/VOStem-Riser-ST0010.jpg.html. Although it's a beautiful stem it doesn't look quite right on an old skinny tubed frame, and the stem needs a big overlap between the bottom and top of the steerer clamp, which I don't get with the adapter.

Any ideas?

I don't think they exist. There are plenty of bars for Ergos with the double grooves. I have some ITM220s you can have for £15 which will take a 26mm clamp stem. I've even got an ITM 100mm stem, so can do the lot for £25 posted.

I have one of the Origin8 stems coming from the States in the coming weeks, I will post a picture when it arrives.

I fear I might have to perform stem surgery to shorten it as the thing looks stupidly long. We will see.

The Origin8 stem has arrived, courtesy of my American friend Mike, and is installed on the Eddy Merckx.

It looks pretty crap but the raised bar height and slightly flared, shallow drop CX bars I'll be using should make for a comfortable position.
