This an odd one.... I can't quite put my my finger on why exactly.... but I have wanted one of these for quite some time now.....

If, on the off-chance somebody has one they want to part with, please feel free to let me know

Tough one to find that! Not too dissimilar from my Samurai, heat tube gussets aside

It's the gussets and square stays that I like

Mine has the square stays and seat tube gusset. The earlier Samurai also had the head tube gussets, and appear almost identical to the TRL

This one's a 2004 Samurai Mike. Looks pretty much the same as the TRL doesn't it?

It does indeed, that’s interesting, I thought the TRL was the only early frame they did that had the gussets and square stays…. wouldn’t be a hardship to have it matte black powder coated either!
