Barryboyinexile
Dirt Disciple
Chesini Criterium frame in very good condition- no rust, dents etc, and chrome is also in very good condition, but with a small amount of pitting on the inside edge of the fork. A few small areas of missing paintwork as shown in the photos, but nothing careful touching up could not solve. It would be a shame to respray this to lose the beautiful golden yellow lustre of the paintwork. I have ridden this only in dry weather, and not a lot since I acquired it. I'm looking for offers around £225
Perfect for L'Eroica 2017.
Chesini is one of the oldest bicycle brands in Italy. Manufacturing started in Verona in 1925. Click[http://www.chesini.it/en/history.html here[http://www.chesini.it/en/history.html] for history.
Frame is 52 x 52 and weighs 2.3 kilos. Fork weighs 700gm. Steel Oria. The Chesini decal says " Oria. Algerita in acciaio al carbonio mm 0.9mm". which translates to "Oria. Frame Manufactured from precision drawn carbon steel tubing.0.9mm gauge. " It's a very comfortable and responsive ride.
I live in Somerset about 25 miles from Bristol. Viewing welcome. Can deliver within reasonable radius, and I shall be travelling to S Wales often over next month or so. Otherwise postage at cost-probably £15-£20.
