Cherry Bicycles - Cherry Bomb

Anyone ever ridden one of these? They used to advertise these in the early 1990's in Mountain Bike Action and other mags. Always curious about them, but haven't seen anyone with one.

I lived East Coast USA in the 90's and used to see them regularly at races and I guy I rode with had one. Really nice steel frame, so many good frame builders on the east coast.

The only Cherry Bomb I've ever heard about was a raspy exhaust you could buy for your car!
