Cheap 26" rear wheel for commuter

I commute daily on an early 90s Saracen Backtrax. The rear rim is wearing through so I just want a cheap but decent replacement 7-speed wheel. Not looking for anything special rim or hubwise. My current hub is stx-rc and rim is a non-name but probably mavic. Stainless spokes necessary though as I'll ride it all winter. can't fiind much on ebay or on the for sale on here.

I am selling what you're after, an STX-RC hub on a brand new silver Mavic XM317 rim, just built it a week ago 32 hole variety, stainless spokes of course!

I ought to have added: the set-up is 7-speed, so 9-speed wouldn't work. Would swapping the freewheel and cassette over work or would a 9 speed wheel be too dished and sit off-centre?

Ahh, sorry missed the 'early '90s' bit of OP. However, if your drop-outs are 135mm my wheel would be fine so long as you put a spacer behind your cassette on my freehub.

Hey, was looking for £45 posted as the new rim cost me £20 and the hub & spokes must be worth £10 each - so I just want back roughly what it 'owes' me. No worries if not, I'll just keep it as a spare.
