I’ve just noticed its got mismatched shifters. even though its 56mi away and it’s nice. It’s steel?
Columbus Neuron is steel, yes. It came in large tube diameters. Neuron was part of a family of tubes that Columbus offered in the early and mid 90's. It had what they called differential butting. Basically that meant the butt was shaped to follow the high stress areas allowing them less material and lighter weight.
I never ridden with Columbus Neuron, but Columbus Genius was similar and excellent material.
Its 62 miles from me, but i'll pass.

Me too, but a bike like that looks like it would be better suited with aluminium.
