Change steerer tube of Marzocchi XC700

I have one question. i have heared that you can change the steerer tubes of old marzocchi forks. I maybe wanna buy a XC 700 but the steerer is too short.
Can i change that. I have heared RST steerers can be used? Who changes those? How much does it cost? Thanks

yes you can change the steerer. Not sure what other steerers you can use in it though. I think you can still get steerers from Marzocchi distributors.

No, it's just undoing 2 bolts around the back of the crown and you can tap the steerer out. In terms of the cost of a new steerer, no idea.

let me know what steerer you need as I have one which is too long for what I need and could swap it for a shorter one .

I've all of them: fork crowns with pressed in steerers or fork crown with changeable steerers.

What in detail do you need and wich colour (gold, silver, titan)?
