Any advice on the best chain to get to go with a Shimano bio pace crank will any make of chain be OK thanks.

Assume then you're running a 6 or 7 speed set up? Sram or KMC best value to quality option. Just type into ebay and take your pick

Shimano chains run quietest but have pitifully short lives in my experience. Also there are lots of counterfeit Shimano chains around on eBay.
Personally I now buy Taya, which is what my LBS carries, they seem to last well, but SRAM and KMC were my favourites in the past.
