Bought some new Crossmax XL'S for my trusty stumpy ran them for a while and the brake pads wore out. As the rim's were ceramic I plumped for the shimano xtr v replacements. To say they were bad would be an understatement I could pedal through the brake's with them full on! Got fed up with this and fitted standard xtr pad's today and they work great so problem solved. My only question is are the ceramic pads supposed to have what look like metal particles lodged in the block's? Oh btw they are less than 1/2 worn down too pics to follow.
