What do those mega expensive white ceramic bearings offer over the standard cartridge units.....(apart from setting my potential retirement back by 2 years! :shock: ).....?

what size you looking for in terms of width, Inside Dia & outside Dia - hybrid ceramic bearing full ceramic ????

I saw a set for the wheels on my road bike nob'o......I don't need them tbh, it is more out of curious interest.....they must be pretty good to justify the cash asked for them. They look good!.....that's surely enough justification in itself!......I probably could make the difference by eating a few less pies!....

Do they run dry?....

I can see the point of ceramic in that theyre lighter ,possibly harder, although that stated im sure its not that huge a saving on weight.
Ceramic doesnt likke shocking i believe :? so somewhere where they wont get shocked around eg the headset and possibly the hubs.

I dont know enough about the substance to give an informed opinion.
Shame Dad is no longer with up. As principle engineer for BAEsystems he could tell you chapter and verse. Probably give a better explanation of their potential usage and placement than the makers
