Lugs are Carlton Flyer Style same as my early 70's Flyer Track frame. The C is the year but I can't remember off hand but I have a list at home.

Yep, absolutely glorious Carlton Flyer road bike. The seat stay wrapping round and ending in points is the signature Flyer style. Interestingly yours has the Flyer lugs but you could also order the Flyer with different lugs.

Bit of spit and polish and that will gleam in the sunshine :)

Shaun

That's very lovely
I agree with Shaun about it gleaming in the sun, the paint looks really deep.

Jamie

Spokessman has a gleaming purple one :)

Yep, C is either 1948-1952 or 1967-1968 so that's late 1960's. Brilliant nick although the decals don't look right.

Thank you, it is lovely and it's nice it's a Flyer - let's hope it's sunny at eroica!

Not too sunny or we will all be blinded by all the shiny stuff.

Great frame by the way.
