Well, just started to look for a new stem for my Kona Kilauea

something with a little rise to ease my poor old back :cry: , when I got to thinking, I should return it to cantis and sell the levers /v's I have on it.
The bike is going to be relegated to garage queen after too much cleaning today.
Now then, now then
Am I gonna find it difficult to find a stem with an integral cable hanger
Will I be able to use those chill pills things
I have no free thread on my steerer tube to fit a cable hanger there....I guess they go between the two locknuts :?:
What nice cantis should I look out for

there are some nice Avid in the classifieds . and they work well too .

Best looking cantis are campagnolo record or .

M900 work really well .

If it's going to be a garage queen, why change the stem? Fair enough fitting a new stem to a rider, but Kona's only look 'right' with flat stems

As for Canti's, you need something like this that bolts to the P2 crown:

You are right of course re flat stem/garage queen....I'll keep it (unless I can get a zero rise black matching ringle)

Yeah sorry, i knew they were out of stock on the link but it was the quickest way to an image... I needed one recently and posted a wanted ad, i was lucky enough to get one gratis

Thanks RC300, still reeling at the 3.99 delivery charge, but maybe my LBS can order it cheaper? Just hurts a bit to pay so much for PP, I know time etc etc is money
