Cannondale SM500 complete bike £80

Here we have a relatively complete and original Cannondale SM. I'm unsure of the exact model and age, and I think it's an 18" but will get exact measurements for anyone who is interested.

Price is £80 collected from Bury St Edmunds. I can post but it'll be an extra £20 and I would really rather collection!

Measurements of the bike are (approx):

Top tube c to c 22"
Seat tube c to c 20"
Down tube c to c 24"

The bike is all there but does need a bit of love! Cables could do with being replaced and the brakes and gears setting up. The wheel bearings need either a tighten or possibly to be replaced. The rear wheel has a buckle that will need to be looked at. You can ride it as it is, but it needs the above to get it spot on.

I have a couple of people interested currently so will update the post if it sells.

I had the same model as that. Bought it new in 1988 from the Edinburgh bike co-op. Yours is pretty original. Saddle and stem look replacements. Stem was a heavy steel core with a yellow alloy top. Saddle was yellow too. Mine got squashed with a grittier lorry squashed me into pedestrian railings at the tynecasle arms on gorgie road. Looks in good nick.
