looking for a complete bike with all/mostly original parts in a small size.
condition secondary, i'm willing to restore it.

Hello bud I have a small 1987 SM frame forks stem and the all important really funky suntours brakes! It's stripped ready for polish or paint and when I say stripped I mean all paint off and all the riveted on cable stops drilled off so you will be able to get a perfect finish.

The cable stops are steel so I was going to have them plated in a contrasting colour, the the cable guides for the rear brake are plastic and one is broken, I have found a set of original replacements but the bloke wants 15 quid for them! Anyway no dents or cracks and all the tedious stuff done so let me know if you're interested,

It's the same as the 1988 one in these pictures, this isn't mine as mine is in storage but just so you can see which version we're talking about and the funky brakes! mine's from 1987.

I have an 1989 SM900 'Red Shred' for sale at the mo, paint is almost perfect, all parts either NOS or very very lightly used........ I challenge you to find a better 80s dale!
