Indeed!! He put in a high bid quite early which then put off everyone else who got outbid instantly when bidding, then sends me a message before the end saying he's out because I might have wekend the BB when removing the old one, and so it wouldn't stand up to the "bouncing around" he was going to give it!!!

Anyway the M1000 is finished..........

XT gear train (with newer XT rear mech) then brand new deore V brakes and levers. So a mix of old and new but looks great IMO.

Literally just got the front mech for it tonight so only just finished it. I need to put some other wheels/tyres on it for a test ride but wont get a chance till probably sunday. Quick trip round the block at home though and it feels much better!
