I really need a set of hs 22 maguras in nos but haven't found any, but now a set of hs 33 have come up. Could I swap the levers for some black hs 22 levers???

So have hs 33 set up but get rid of the levers with red dials on and just black hs22 levers. Can this be done???

Looking at my Magura Blues which don't have the on-the-fly 'red' adjuster and my Raceline D's and my more modern HS33 EVO's the hydraulic cable, brake actuator cylinders all look identical. So in theory yes you could swap levers. :)

rojo buddy, i might be interested in the blades if you feel like shifting them on..will let you know :)

Not 100% sure but I think so. The problem you may have is the reason 33's have the red dial adjuster is because they have a smaller piston, whilst it delivers more power than the 22's it also means the pistons in the slaves doesn't move as much. Therefore when your out riding should the brake blocks wear down you can easily adjust them on the go without having to stop and mess with tools, on the 22's this isn't a problem as you still have enough leverage to pull the pads into the rim if you get what I'm saying?!

Ok hmmmmm

Trying to do a build with original and meant to have hs22 brakes, hmmm can i get away with hs33 instead :? :?

If I were you I'd leave the 33's standard till you can get hold of a proper set of 22's. Never a problem selling on 33's so I wouldn't worry about that and it saves messing round with lever blades and allen keys adjusting them.
