I fitted this British thread bottom bracket on my new La Vie Claire 753 build with the intention of using it with the Corsa Record cranks, but I can't get the damned self extracting allen bolts out of the cranks, so this is sadly for sale now.
The bearing surfaces have absolutely minimal wear as you can see in the photos. There's staining to the fixed cup side as I had to use heat to remove the cup to get it out of my old frame. This has not affected the cup otherwise - it's still as smooth as can be and the threads are also unaffected.
Being the Mk2 version, this bottom bracket is infinitely favorable to it's hollow predecessor which was known to fail, as poor old Laurent once found out - the hard way!! :shock:
