Um Sorry to cock a leg over your bonfire, Rod, but those thumbies are Centaurs, [http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=51483] Euclids had silver adjuster caps and they were mounted on bosses that connected into the brake leaver mounts.
