Campagnolo disc wheel

Hi, I recently acquired a mid 80's Campagnolo Khamsin (I think) disc wheel.
It is currently set up as a single speed so I intended to put it on my F. Moser frame as a SS conversion but my LBS advised me that the rear spacing on the axle is for a 120mm track frame. I think the Moser is 126mm so would this squeeze the frame in too much?
Maybe I should just use it as an excuse to build a track bike? or sell it to fund a decent set of standard wheels for the Moser? Too many choices :?
 
Personally I wouldn't bend the frame to fit the wheel, I would fit a longer axle and spacers to make the wheel fit the frame

That's a great idea, then I may be able to get a 7 speed cog put on the longer axle, because I'd rather have the Moser with gears as it's meant to be. I expect it may be costly to do though.
 
Pretty sure you cant redish a disc wheel. And you'd need to redish it if you changed the axle.
 
If it's an 80's Khamsin, I believe the road & track versions have interchangeable axles - the track axles are pretty difficult to get hold of.

The silver covers come off providing access to the hub & axle arrangement, I believe you can use axles from other Campagnolo wheelsets of that era so shouldn't be too difficult to sort.

When I had mine serviced my LBS said it was a bit of a job to get the covers off but once inside it was like any standard wheel.

Change the rear axle for longer one & ensure you have some spacers on the non-drive side to take into account the dishing of a wheel - I had a slight dishing problem of 2mm on a 96 ghibli for my Bates but then I did have access to my wheel jig & DTI's :)
