Campagnolo Chorus - Monoplanar, C Record cranks, wheelset

ForestHill

Retro Guru
All items are in Otley, West Yorkshire so collection or postage.

Smaller items like callipers should be £3.70

Cranks will be around £6

The wheels will need a proper box so closer to £13

Very open to offers, trying to clear space before a move and baby arriving!

1. 7 speed Athena (?) (cassette) hubs laced 36x to Open Pro CD rims. Rear has around 50% of CD finish remaining, front around 80%. No concaving.

Freehub great, spin forever but rear hub is making a slight click when held vertically, which disappears when it's held horizontally (and spun). I can check bearings but they seem totally fine, tbh.
True as owt.

£75
(Postage about £13 on these)

2. Chorus Monoplanars. Lovely condition other than the expected rusty bits. Campy pads.
£45

3. 170mm Chorus crankset. Non-original extraction bolts and only one dust cap (with a slightly rounded extraction hole) unfortunately. Threads and tapers fine.
Original 52-42 rings with tonnes of life.
Arms are in nice nick, judge for yourself.

£45

4. Chorus 1" headset.
Excellent condition. Crown race could be better as underside has marks from removal. Races and threads all perfect however.
£30

6. Campagnolo Peanut Butter wrench.
One of the few wrenches with its own Wikipedia page. A piece of history or something.
£25

7. Rapha Merino XL gloves.
Like new, I bought these on ebay for £58 including postage and the seller had tried them on then realised they were too big. I stupidly didn't check the Rapha sizing and assumed I'd be in XL in these as I am in every other set of gloves EVER, but I'm not.

I'm a medium.

Out of stock on the Rapha site where they're £60 + £4 postage.

I'll do them for £55 posted to the UK.

Sorry for the crap photo, they really are like new though.
Same as these https://www.rapha.cc/merino-gloves?locale=UK With original bag.

Re: Campagnolo Chorus - Monoplanar, C Record cranks, wheelse

Can you tell me what speed is the Mirage mech is? Cheers.

Re: Campagnolo Chorus - Monoplanar, C Record cranks, wheelse

I'd guess 8/9. It's a modern replacement for the original chorus one, so not as old as the rest of the group.

Re: Campagnolo Chorus - Monoplanar, C Record cranks, wheelse

Mirage rear mech sold.

Interest in wheels so held for the time being.

eBay is my next port of call, don't make me do it! Open to offers on all this.

Re: Campagnolo Chorus - Monoplanar, C Record cranks, wheelse

Wheels available again. Everything else still available.

Re: Campagnolo Chorus - Monoplanar, C Record cranks, wheelse

Dibs on Peanut Butter Wrench. PM sent

Re: Campagnolo Chorus - Monoplanar, C Record cranks, wheelse

It's not really worth it. They're so bloody cheap I can't believe no one has gone for them.
