I recently dug out a nice Campag Euclid 6 speed wheelset(late 80s 130mm) and want to put them back into use.If using in a more modern frame with a wider rear dropout is it simply a case of redishing the rear and adding a few spacers? Also what options have I replacing the current 6 speed(screw on) block? Is there a 7 speed option?

Yes, your assumption is correct. 7 and 8 speed freewheels are available. I’ve been impressed with the Sachs Maillard LY91 on my Roberts.

Cheers for that.Im going to see if my hub is BS thread so I can use a 7 speed Hyperglide block which would work nicely with the intended XT thumbies and mech set up.I think those hubs came in BS,French or Italian thread.Any tips on servicing the hubs? Are they straightforward cup and cone?

My Campag hubs are later Olympus, I went down from 135 to 130. They were just standard cup and cone, and I’d be amazed if your earlier Euclid are not as well.
