I ground the teeth of a well used one
Trouser guard is exactly what it was for

I also did a 1x9 using a roadie chainset where the 52 outer lost its teeth and I used the inner @42T

A nice ano one to use,maybe something purple or green.Now either of those would make a cool trouser guard
