BTCC followers.....

i met john cleland when he was racing back in the 90's, met all of them from that era, great folk who would stop and talk for ages.

still have there autographs somewhere.

its all big money thesedays still, my brother in law apparently spent £900,000 setting things up with the minis i heard from one mechanic who works for them

they do make money from sponsors now, but you have to worth a few quid to get your foot in the door.

when im at races, the cars you see behind the pits are superb, lines of ferraris, lamborghinis etc etc.......

Apologies for the youtube link but BTCC used to be so awesome.

I hope people come back to the sport an make it a spectacle again.

I blame the governing body for the decline. Back in the 90's it was the one to watch. Not so now. Still good but nothing like it was with the Cosworths and M3 later More manufactures joined during this period with Audie, Alfa etc.
