BT are idiots...

I am an idiot too for allowing my wife to convince me (she wore THOSE boots! ) that moving house this weekend was a good idea. :roll:

But BT cannot transfer my Broadband until the 11th of Jan even though my phone will go over on the 31st of Dec. :evil:

Anyway, I have been busy lately and a little quiet on the Retrobike front, and I shall continue to be quiet until the 11th, god willing!

Although they say "by the 11th" that doesn't necessarily mean that you'll have to wait that long. More often than not, your line will have ADSL enabled before then - plug your router in when you move and watch for the DSL light showing sync... once it does, that's you ready to go.

Then again, I've seen BT _seriously_ botch up a simple phone&broadband move... though even that paled into insignificance compared to a customer who was on AOL, moved house (practically next door) and had to wait a month to actually get what should have taken a few days!
