and superstar

Transition bikes seems to be getting noticed, I hadn't heard of them until recently - started 10 years back, I think a few youngish niche companies are starting to pick up some "mainstream revenue" as people look for a more unique product. (I know what I am trying to say but I might not have worded it that well)

yes you mean exclusive tk?
pretty much impossible in this day and age unless your sponsored or loaded.

also spinner as a standalone brand

Cube are rapidly becoming more popular, they've been on the go since the mid 90's, only been in the UK for around 4 years and lots seem to be popping up in the readers rides sections of forums recently

Most of them for me, never heard of a lot of them until a year or so ago.

I notice a lot of 'breakout', which I assume you mean alternative to the mainstream Shimano et all brands as I've never heard the term breakout.
Felt seems to be doing well, had never heard of them. On-One etc.. millions of alternatives around it seems. Halo ?
everywhere I look there I names I don't know. Just a scan of the CRC pages.

Anyways, there seems to be a lot of newborn old names at the moment having a publicity push.

yes nuke proof seem to be doing well as do stronglight

as for breakout i mean brands that begin with little or no reputation and go on to become a main competitor

(breaking out), could include alternative as often they dont hav ethe name the bigger brands do
