I have just bought one through this forum - many thanks to the seller for a good description and despatch.
My question is, having never used one before, how will it actually work to improve the braking performance?
I am assuming that they are designed to prevent the forks or seat stays from flexing when operating the V brakes.
However, the mounting holes are elongated which means that it is possible for the brake bosses to move laterally when the brakes are operated - seemingly this defeats the purpose of the booster?
Am I missing the point?
